A multi-media production company founded by Alan Robert that is currently adapting several critically acclaimed and award-winning IDW Publishing properties for film, television and gaming. Projects include: Killogy: The Animated Series, The Beauty of Horror, Crawl to Me, Wire Hangers, and The Shunned One.
Alan Robert is best known for being the bassist and primary-songwriter for the hard rock band Life of Agony. The popular New York-based group has shared stages all over the world with the biggest names in rock for over two decades. Artists include Metallica, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, and more. As a result, Life of Agony has built a die-hard following and has sold over one million albums to date. The band released its 6th studio album The Sound of Scars through Napalm Records in 2019 and it was named “Album of the Year” by The Aquarian. As a result, a full-length documentary, also titled The Sound of Scars, was made about the band and was brought to Cannes by Raven Banner Entertainment where it was later acquired.
Outside of music, Robert is a best-selling author and artist. He has written and illustrated several critically acclaimed, creator-owned, IDW Publishing comic book series, graphic novels and coloring books. In 2016, his smash hit adult coloring book The Beauty of Horror caught the attention of GQ, Buzz Feed, The Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and Nerdist, who praised it as "The World's Creepiest Adult Coloring Book." Volume five, The Beauty of Horror 5: Haunt of Fame - Another GOREgeous Coloring Book was released in August, 2021 and immediately became an Amazon #1 Hot New Release. Robert's other titles include Crawl to Me, Killogy and Wire Hangers.
On October 31, 2021, Alan Robert launched a brand-new venture called Monster Chompers NFTs, where he partnered with top digital agency Way Too Digital to produce 10,000 unique digital collectibles.
Robert studied cartooning under legendary Thor artist Walt Simonson while earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, which he attended on scholarship.
